Meet at 3:30pm outside Costa Coffee, Victoria Street, to start the procession at 4pm. Wrap up warm! You may want to bring some cash to enjoy a festive drink and treat.
To enable us to safely manage the event we have applied for road closures to operate from 3:45-5:00pm on Saturday 9th December.
These road closures will be manned by appropriately trained operatives who can advise of alternative routes. Parking on Palace Ave will not be stopped however parked cars will not be allowed to move until the procession is safely within the gardens. We ask that should you have any deliveries or vehicle movement planned for this day that these closures are taking into consideration. There will be no exceptions, the road closures are legal and a breach of a closure will result in the police attending.
Palace Ave and all access roads will be closed. This includes:
Palace Ave junction with Totnes Rd
